La 508 BALILLA was a compact car designed and developed by FIAT in 1932. It was conceived to replace the FIAT 509 despite the fact that the production of this model had ceased in 1929. It had a three-speed gearbox (later brought to four in 1934), four seats, and a top speed of 80 km / h. It was sold for 10800 lire, the equivalent of around 8300 euros today. Approximately 113000 were marketed. The aim was to combine the characteristics of a high-class car with an affordable price. The car was presented at an auto show inside the Milan Fair in 1932.

The 508 BALILLA was a compact car designed and developed by FIAT in 1932. It was born to replace the FIAT 509, although production of that model had ceased back in 1929. It had a three-speed transmission (increased to four in 1934), four seats, and had a top speed of about 50 mph (80 km / h). It was sold for 10,800 liras (today s euro 8,300). About 113,000 were produced. The goal was to incorporate some of the qualities of a high class automobile into a modestly priced vehicle. The car was introduced on 12 April 1932 at the Milan Fair site.
